The easy way to get the optimum NC program
The CENIT standard packages for postprocessors, controller emulators and full machine tool integration packages are supporting any CATIA NC installation in an optimum way. There are three types of packages available:
- Postprocessors to generate NC data out of CATIA NC CATProcesses
- Controller emulators or direct controller integrations to support an NC code simulation with CATIA MSG
- Full packages, containing both a postprocessor and a controller emulator, plus a 3D resource model of the machine tool
Description :
Among others, the postprocessors and controller emulators come along with the following functions:
• Milling and drilling on any spatial or inclined plane (multi-axis machining and 3+2 axis milling)
• 5 axis simultaneous machining
• Machining of 2D contours and pockets on any inclined plane (circular pocket milling, contouring with or without radial correction, and milling of conical pockets in any special plane)
• Wide range of standard drilling cycles (Breakchip Drilling, Circular Milling, Counter Boring, Deephole Drilling, Drilling, Drilling Dwell Delay, Reaming, Spot Drilling, Tapping, Thread Milling). Tool changes, origin management
• Various M commands
DS prerequisite products :
Postprocessors require any V5 NC installation (minimum module NG1) to generate APT output that is the input for the postprocessor controller emulators require any V5 NC installation (minimum module
NCG) for NC based material removal simulation and CATIA V5 machine tool simulation (module MSG or config MTX) to simulate the complete machine tool kinematics
