SPEOS CAA V5 BASED LIGHT MODELING 2 – PHOTOMETRY PACKAGE
Description: fully integrated in CATIA V5, this package allows users to simulate and analyse the photometric efficiency of their lighting systems. This is made possible through several tools for illuminance (lux, footcandle....) , luminance (cd/square metre), intensity (candela...) . Propagation takes into account optical properties for surfaces, materials, and source emission. Results (photometry maps, cross-sections, point measurements..) can be used to verify compliance with International Standards or specifications, and even exported to other software solutions.
Note:this license allows sampling up to 500 for intensity and illuminance / this license allows sampling up to 200 for luminance
More info: this is the standard version of SPEOS CAAV5 for Virtual prototyping of light in the mechanical system. Colorimetry, Light Expert or optimisation can be optionally added to this package.
Examples of appliance:
- AUTOMOTIVE: Headlamps, Tail lamps, Signal lamps, Interior vehicle lighting, Mirrors, Windshield…
- ELECTRONICS: Light guides, Backlighting units, Projection systems, LEDs, CCFL and other sources,
Switches…
- LIGHTING: Reflector design, Luminaires, Lamps, Bulbs, Fiber Optics, Luminaire lenses…
- CONSUMER GOODS: White products panels & switches, Luminous toys, Jewels, precious stones (reflects analysis)…
SPEOS CAA V5 BASED LIGHT MODELING 3 – MEDICAL PACKAGE
Description: medical world requires the simulation of specific radiation frequencies, therefore we have developed for them a very specific solution 100% CATIA integrated, this package allows users to simulate, analyse and optimise the photometric and radiometric efficiency oir optical systems for medical applications and to model the human body itself, as integrated in a radiative analysis chain, including illuminating systems and vision systems. This is made possible through several tools for illuminance (watt/sq metr, luminance (watt/cd/sr, ...), intensity (watt/sr, candela...) which are able to model all the sensors available in medical field. Propagation takes into account optical properties for surfaces, skin, human tissues, materials, and source emission (Vi, UV, Gamma-Ray, X-ray). This package includes also fluorescent surfaces in view to model light emission from excited parts. Results can be used to verify the level of energy, the compliance with International Standards or customer specifications, and be exported to other software solutions.
More info: include all the functionalities of LM2. Can be upgraded with colorimetry, light expert, optimization, distributed calculation, floating license,...
Examples of appliance: microscopy, medical lighting, light therapy, laser therapy, imaging, endoscope, UV purification, X-rays systems,..
SPEOS CAA V5 BASED LIGHT MODELING 3 – RADIOMETRY/DEFENSE PACKAGE
Description: optics is becoming increasingly important in the defense industry. SPEOS Radiometry Defense enables the simulation and optimisation of visible, near and far infrared systems (active and passive detection, signature, countermeasures, counter-countermes, ...). This package is part of the SPEOS CAA V5 Based product family and allows you to extend optical simulation to mechanical parts around the optical system. 100% CATIA integrated, SPEOS CAA V5 Based now allows you to calculate and understand the radiometric efficiency of your optical system using several tools for illuminance (watt/sq metre...), luminance (watt/m²/sr, ...), intensity (watt/sr, candela...). Propagation takes into account optical properties for surfaces characterised by their full anisotropic diffusion function unction (BRDF, BTDF, BSDF), skin, human tissue, materials, and source emission (UV, Infra-Red, Gamma-Ray, X-ray). Infrared material, as well as diffusing volumes, allowing to model fog and smoke, have been specifically developed for this high level applications. Results include radiometric efficiency, radiative exchange analysis, stray light analysis, ghost images, can be useful to verify compliance with customer specifications, and even exported to other software.
More info: This package is an extension of the Photometry Package (LM2). It can be upgraded with colorimetry, light expert, optimization, distributed calculation, floating license,...
Examples of appliance: IR emitters, Laser sources, Heating, IR sensors, Night vision magnifiers, IR Battlefield lighting conditions, Camouflage...
