The OptiNum scanner also includes a software called NumiSoft 2011, based on acquisition control and improvement algorithms. It allows point clouds creation, registration and optimization to provide to the user the warranty to work on high quality 3D models.

Beside this, NumiSoft 2011 offers a state of the art and a friendly user interface to operate the OptiNum hardware. The use of the scanner on the field, by any type of operator was taken into account in the design of the user interface of the hardware. This user interface also follows the rule: ease of use and ultra-portability.
