Offline programming and simulation for Wire-EDM
As a solution for wire EDM, FAST4AXES seamlessly integrates in the existing CATIA V5 NC manufacturing modules. It offers a similar uniform and intuitive user interface as the other CAM modules to cover the CAD/CAM process chain.
FAST4AXES supports associative programming of any type of geometry. As soon as a geometric or parametric engineering change occurs, the tool path is updated. The modified program may be verified using the integrated simulation and downloaded through the postprocessor.
FAST4AXES’s integration into the PPR-Model (Product Process Resource) guarantees full associativity with the CATIA V5 infrastructure.

• Advanced automation can be applied using the following strategies: Finish in gap, roughing with glue stop and no-core cut with finishing
• Controller dependent extensions of user interface
• User defined strategies through VisualBasic programming (requires VB license)
