So... At first, we had the PLM MarketPlace iPhone app . People were happy with that. Then, Android users asked us for a PLM MarketPlace Android app . We launched it. And, at the same time, we thought that people using BlackBerry smartphones would be happy to have the PLM MarketPlace in their device. This is why we released today... guess what?... Yes! Two weeks after the release of the PLM MarketPlace app for Android , we have juste released a new version of the PLM MarketPlace app for iPhone !

Downloaded thousands of times since its launch in November 2009, the iPhone app brings now some new useful features that we're sure you'll appreciate:
- receive push notifications when something important happens (new partner/product referenced, event announcement,...);
- RSS news and blogposts are now in the same section so that you are updated at a glance;
- the catalog, the heart of the application, offers now an auto-update feature and cache management options in order to optimize the memory of your device;
- MS Office and PDF documents can now be read;
- in-app browsing allows you to surf the web within the app, no more need quit and re-open the app anymore;
- we've put the focus on visual items: new design, more icons and images,...

You can get all these new features just by updating the app from iTunes or your iDevice! For those of you who don't already have it on their iPhone, just look for "plm marketplace" in the AppStore.

One more thing: it is (still) free :-)

We released the PLM MarketPlace iPhone app more than a year ago and it is a great success with thousands of downloads. However, a lot of people asked us if we had an Android version of this app... Well, the answer is now: YES! We are pleased to announce that the PLM MarketPlace app for Android is now available on the AndroidMarket!

Android users have now the possibility to carry the whole PLM MarketPlace in their mobile device. This includes the whole catalog with product datasheets, snapshots, videos, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, etc... All this content can be shared easily with customers, colleagues, etc right from the app.


Also, to be sure that you won't miss any of our news (new product, event, special offer,...), you can enable push notifications in order to be notified instantly when something of interest happens. This new applications also offers you the latest news and blogposts from our partners.

This is the first release of the  PLM MarketPlace app for Android and, of course, your experience as an user counts for us. First, many new Referenced Partners joined bringing along a lot of new, innovative and comprehensive solution one click away from customers:

- Icona Solutions, with the aesthetica product range helping you to face perceived quality challenges;
- Magestic and its Truenest and Truelaser View solutions for the composite manufacturing process;
- Mecamaster, with Mecamaster Analysis (Tolerance analysis);
- Noomeo, offering handheld 3D-scanners.

The motto of the PLM MarketPlace has always been "Connecting Partners". Thus, we wanted to go a step ahead and open new channels where Referenced Partners, VARs and Customers would have the opportunity to interact:
- We launched a Twitter in April and today, more than 600 people (mostly users, partners, and 3D enthusiasts) follow us and discuss! Join them for free on Twitter!
- "See what you mean" is Dassault Systèmes' motto. This is why we gathered all the videos of our Referenced Partners on a dedicated channel on YouTube. People can now see for real what their software do, ask questions and share the videos in an easy way.
- Last but not least, something we are very proud of: the PLM MarketPlace application for iPhone. Thanks to it, bring all the PLM MarketPlace (RSS news, blog and, above all, the catalog, including product datasheets, videos and images) whereever you go! This application is free and can be downloaded from Apple's App Store.
