3DCS CAA V5 Based is a seamless integration of Dimensional Control Systems 3D tolerance analysis and visualization technologies into the V5 environment. This knowledgeware tool takes advantage of the native CATIA V5 Functional Tolerancing & Annotation (FTA) bringing the latest concurrent engineering methodologies to users in a single CATIA window. Subsequent design modifications to CAD geometry are automatically reflected in the tolerance analysis model.
Graphically viewing the variation of all parts, assemblies and fixtures in true 3D animation and predicting tolerance accumulation allows the evaluation of design and assembly concepts early in the product development cycle.
